A landmark unto itself, you know you have arrived at the Wharf when you see the Fisherman's Wharf Marquee in San Francisco. Take a walk there and be greeted by smells of freshly steamed crab (when in season), and other sites such as sea gulls, sea lions, street vendors and tourists alike. Yet, as crowded as it is, Fisherman's Wharf is just a few blocks away from Old Italy, Chinatown and the renovated waterfront and aquatic park.
